Monday Features

Hello and happy Monday! For us lucky ones we have off today to observe Martin Luther King day, and for the others--well, you still have to go to work! Thank you so much to everyone who linked up there recipes last week! 24 recipes in total. I think that's a record for Katie's Cucina to date, and of course a BIG challenge for me! If you were featured please make sure you grab a featured button and display it proudly on your blog!

Peanut Butter Pie Parfaits from Inside BruCrew Life
These look beyond delicious and fairly easy to make ahead for a dinner party! These are next on my dessert making list!

BBQ Chicken Dip from Hezzi-D's Books and Cooks
First off, to a fellow Pittsburgh Steelers fan, that was some game on Saturday! We had a friend over for the game and I made all sorts of "bar" food, but wish I would have known about this dip sooner or I would have made it for the game as well. Well, thankfully we have next week's game, and this will definitely be on my menu! Mmm... love buffalo chicken dip so I can only imagine how amazing BBQ chicken dip would be!

Banana Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting from Frugal Antics of a Harried Homemaker
I too am not a huge fan of banana type cakes, pies, etc. I mean I will eat a very green banana, but that's about it. I am super intrigued by this recipe, since I constantly freeze all of my overly ripe bananas and the only thing I ever make with them is chocolate chip banana bread! The next time I have enough frozen bananas I will definitely give this cake a try!

Italian Style Green Bean Casserole from Debbi Does Dinner... Healthy & Low Calorie
Debbi, I am loving the twist on the normal green bean casserole! This is definitely on my list of recipes to make in the near future!

Pina Colada Breakfast Cupcakes from Joseph's Grainery
"Who likes Pina Coladas?"... sorry as soon as I started reading this blog post the song instantly started playing in my head. These look and sound delectable. The next time I have a breakfast pot luck at work or a brunch at home for that matter I definitely want to give these a try!
